Latest Information

SSAA Para is currently monitoring the situation with Coronavirus COVID-19, and are considering a number of options surrounding our operations over the coming months.

First and foremost, of utmost importance to us is the health and safety of our volunteers, members and guests and in this regard, it is currently business as usual. However, given we have many members and guests visiting our range on a daily basis. We are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to seek advice from Government departments as to the best course of action. We will advise of any changes to our operations on an as needed basis.

Based on current government directions (18/03/2020):

  1.  The outdoor range capacity is currently capped at 500 people and 100 people indoors.
  2. Please practice social distancing of 1.5m between people (for example using every second bench) and remove physical interactions like handshakes ect.
  3. Club firearms will need to be wiped down before and after each use and ensure that good hygiene is maintained with regular hand washing.
  4. Please ensure that you follow the quarantine requirements if you have travelled overseas or have been in close contact with a confirmed case.

Most importantly should any of our members or guests have any flu or cold like symptoms, or are aware that they have come into contact with someone who has been infected with COVID-19, we ask that you DO NOT attend a SSAA Para Range and that you stay at home and follow the Governments recommendations.

If you have any further questions then please contact the club secretary
