Working Bee Reminder 19th & 20th March
To all Para Members.
This is to remind you about the upcoming working bee, which will be held on the 19th and 20th of March at SSAA Para.
The projects will be broken up into teams. Depending on how many people turn up will result in how many teams we will establish and what projects are done.
If you could please email me back to let us know you will be attending this will help us work out our working groups.
Bellow is a brief outline for what we will hopefully achieve, if you have a preference please let us know.
Priority 1 – Team 1: Construction of a concrete spoon drain between the main range retaining wall and the pistol range walkway.Background: This project will address the repairs required to remove the tripping hazards along the walkway. A mini mix will be brought in so mixing concrete will not be required.

Concrete equipment (Trowels / Floats)
Priority 2 – Team 2: Construction of a portable baffle for the 25 Turning Target Range.Background: The construction of the portable baffle will enable the range to return to full operation. All the timber has been ordered, and the majority has now been painted.

Priority 3 – Team 3: Construction of the Target Frame on the 25m Slow Fire Range.Background: The construction of the 25m target frame will enable the range to return to full operation. All the timber has been ordered, and the majority has been painted.

Priority 4 – Team 4: Stormwater Connections to divert water off the main range.Background: Currently the stormwater runoff is temporally diverted onto the pistol ranges roofs. This project is to disconnect and divert the stormwater away from the main range.
All the underground pipe work has been installed and now just needs to be connected. One sump needs to be installed.

Priority 5 – Team 5: Removal of Poplar TreeBackground: Removal of the last Poplar Tree.
